Modern Combat Versus changes everything by making the game online only and multiplayer. In the past, games from the Modern Combat series have mostly been solo affairs like Call of Duty. While it may sound like its stripping power from you to do the actual firing for you, it actually makes juggling all the controls easier, and still feels like you are in control. The navigation is smooth, and the game automatically fires for you when you aim appropriately. While the game could certainly benefit from more objectives to liven things up, this is an exciting starting point for the game. Players must duke it out in a “King of the Hill” style game where all the players are fighting to take over a specific area.
